How to change your password

Fortix enables users to be self-sufficient by enabling them to take control of their personal data like changing their password.

All changes are tracked by the changelog, so it is totally transparent. This frees up valuable time and prevents miscommunications.

There are three different ways to access the EDIT USER form to change a password.

1. My Profile Access

Click on the Profile photo or circle on the right-hand side. This can be accessed no matter what page you are on in the system. Click My Profile.

This opens the EDIT USER Form where users can update their own personal information relating to their role and employment.

Scroll down to the System Login Details section. Enter the Password and Repeat Password. Adding a Password Change Reason is compulsory.

2. Matrix Menu Access

The second option is to access the matrix menu icon on the right-hand side of the Fortix system for users to access their allowed system settings and appearance changes. Click on the Matrix icon.

Click on the User icon.

This opens the EDIT USER Form where users can update their own personal information relating to their role and employment.

Scroll down to the System Login Details section. Enter the Password and Repeat Password. Adding a Password Change Reason is compulsory.
