Create Relations Types in Fortix

Fortix enables you to understand the relationships between contacts and customers. When a relation exist between contact and or customers, it is possible to update only one contact record, use the synchronise feature to automate the other relations details.

Click on Relations Manager Icon under CRM section in the Setup Page. The Setup page is access by click on the Setup Icon in the top Right hand corner of the website.

The short address bar Link is: /?Relations

The Relations page opens with a list of current RELATIONS in the system. Click Add New to add a new relation.

The Relations page opens with ADD NEW RELATION form enabled.

  1. Relation Type * When adding a One Way Relation, click the radio button next to One Way
  2. Symmetry One Way relations can only be Asymmetric - meaning Many to One.
  3. Relation Name * Types of Relations that are One way is: Shareholders and Beneficiary
  4. Relation Name (other way) * When adding a One Way Relation, the Relation Name (other way) field will be empty.
  1. Relation Type * When adding a Two Way Relation, click the radio button next to Two Way
  2. Symmetry: Two Way relations can be Symmetric or  Asymmetric - Many to many or meaning Many to One.
  3. Relation Name * Types of Relations that are Two way and Symmetric is: Associates, Business Partner, Spouse, Related family
  4. Relation Name (other way) * When adding a Two Way Relation, and the Symmetry is Symmetric, then the Relation Name (other way) field will be the same as the Relation Name
  1. Relation Type * When adding a Two Way Relation, click the radio button next to Two Way
  2. Symmetry: Two Way relations can be Symmetric or  Asymmetric - Many to many or meaning Many to One.
  3. Relation Name * Types of Relations that are Two way and Asymmetric is: Parent Child, Employer and Employee
  4. Relation Name (other way) * When adding a Two Way Relation, and the Symmetry is Asymmetric, then the Relation Name (other way) field will be different as the Relation Name

Sync. data With the Sync.data feature the contact details of different records can automatically be updated. The Customer Fields to be synchronised is where the fields that needs to syncronised is selected.

Click SAVE to commit the record to the system.
