Manage Avatars, Logos and Contact Photos

As an integrated system that focuses on user experience, Fortix emphasizes the significance of icons in its default state.  There are three contact icons which users will find in the system, Default Avatars, Company Logo and Contact Photo

If Avatars is not enabled the data set will display as below.

To setup the default avatars, navigate to User Setup Page in Setup under CRM. Click User Setup.

The USER SETUP form opens in the Setup page. Scroll down to the User Avatar area.

Click SAVE to enable.

With Avatar enabled the display is as follows:

This icon below indicates that the information is related to a Contact in the system.  It will appear in various areas of the system when a logo has not been assigned to the Contact itself (Customer, Supplier, Partner).

To update this icon, go the relevant Contact and Edit.  Next, you can either click on the icon itself or on the Assign Picture icon shown below:

Upload the image in either .png or .jpg format, and it will appear for editing as displayed below:

Clicking Save will now replace the default Contact Icon with the newly uploaded image:

This icon below signifies details pertaining to a Person that is connected to a Contact.  Similar to the above, this icon will appear when the Contact Person's image has not been uploaded into the system.  Note that there are Contact Persons in the CRM and also in Users: Users are the people using your Fortix system, who has a Login and a Password. Contact Persons are linked to Companies in the Fortix system.

To update this icon, go the relevant Contact Person or User and Edit.  Next, you can either click on the icon itself or on the Assign Picture icon shown below:

Upload the image in either .png or .jpg format, and it will appear for editing as displayed below:

Click Save will upload the new image for display across the system:
